Re: REACH Certificate of Compliance (Security Tape & Labels)

Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) is a European Union Regulation which addresses the production and use of chemical substances and their potential impact on both human health and the environment.

REACH also classifies some chemicals as "Substances of Very High Concern" (SVHC) because of their potential for significant negative impact on human health or the environment. For these chemicals, notification must be provided if the quantity used is more than one ton per year and the SVHC is present at more than 0.1% of the mass of the subcomponents of the object.

As of January 23, 2024, there were 240 substances on the SVHC list. If additional substances are added to the list during 2024s, this certification will be updated by the end of the first quarter next year.

Based on our current knowledge of material specifications, supplier information and material processing, our security tape and label products (*listed below) are in compliance with the REACH initiative for Substances of Very High Concern (none of the listed SVHC chemicals are present at more than 0.1% of the mass of the subcomponents of the finished product).
