Clear Tamper Evident Bags
We have a wide selection of stock sizes for clear tamper evident bags - ranging in size from 4x7 inches up to 37x47 inches.
All of our security bags feature a tamper evident closure system using VOID tape. After inserting the contents, the security bag is sealed. If the closure is opened, it will show some form of tamper evidence (the bag will be torn, the word "VOID" or "OPENED" OR "STOP" will be visible, etc.)
When using a transparent bag, if you want to conceal the contents, first place the contents in a opaque envelope or bag, then seal it in the security bag/envelope.
Our stock bags are offered in an Standard and Premium configuration. The Standard bags are priced about 10% lower. The Premium bags have a few more product features (See HOW TO CHOOSE section).
Both configurations are in stock for immediate shipping. Place your order by 1PM EST and the product can ship the same day.
Security bags and envelopes are used to secure documents, personal effects, cash, or other valuables. The security bags on this page are transparent for viewing the contents, which is required in some applications.

Typical applications include crime scene evidence, cash, checks, clinical trials, personal effects for hospital patients, dice and playing cards for casinos, valuables stored in a vault at a hotel, etc.
Security bags are one-time use and are disposed after the initial use. Custom versions usually require a lead time of 4 weeks. Please call for more info.
How To Choose Your Security Bag
Our bags are designed for durability and protection from tampering.
1. Select the type of bag (Standard or Premium) based on the features and pricing
- Our Standard bags are generally about 10% less price with these features:
- Film thickness: most of the bags are constructed with 2 mil thick film (both sides), although a few specific sizes use 2.5 mil film and 3.0 mil film.
- Tamper Evident Closure: the 1 inch tape seal reveals the word VOID when opened
- Our Premium bags include these added security features:
- Wider Tamper Evident Closure: The VOID tape closure is made with 2 inch wide tape, which makes tampering more difficult and more prominent
- Heat Indicator Ink: if someone attempts to open the bag with heat, the indicator ink will change from white to black. When the indicator ink changes colors, it often discourages criminals from tampering further.
- A “fold over” bottom -- the presence of a bottom seam indicates possible tampering (the bag bottom was cut to access the contents and bag bottom was resealed)
User Instructions
Sending:
- Ideally, work on flat surface
- Insert contents in the bag
- Remove as much trapped air as possible from the bag
- Remove the liner on the VOID tape to expose the adhesive
- Fold over the VOID tape onto the other side of the bag to seal the bag closed
Receiving:
- Inspect bag for signs of tampering, which includes:
- VOID message in taped seam
- Irregularities in seams or bag which suggest it was cut opened and re-seamed
- To remove contents, use scissors to cut open the bag on one edge
- Dispose of plastic bag properly, which can pose a suffocation hazard. Keep discarded plastic bags away from babies and children.

The VOID tape is green in the photo, but the tape’s blue color is revealed after removing and discarding the yellow silicone-coated backing. This color change feature provides a visual indicator the bag has been properly sealed. For added convenience, the bag also includes as easy peel edge to remove the silicone-coated backing.
